Recipe of the month - Flaxseed pudding

Benefits: A recipe rich in pre-biotic food, high in fibre, high in Omega 3 fatty acids, and a good food source for those going through menopause.


Ingredients

1 cup flaxseeds, ground

2 cups of alternative milk of your choice

Optional: sweetener of choice, 2-3 dates and diced or 1 mashed banana

pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender for 30-60 seconds

  2. Then portion and refrigerate until set
