Amaranth Porridge

Benefits: Ancient Grain, a good source of plant-based protein, high fibre, and gluten-free


1 cup amaranth

1 cup oat milk

1 tsp cinnamon

1 pinch nutmeg

3-4 dates


  1. Drain and rinse amaranth

  2. Combine with one cup oat milk, 3-4 dates, cinnamon, and nutmeg

  3. Bring to a boil, and reduce to a simmer

  4. Cover and let simmer for 25 minutes and let sit for 5 mins
