Almond and oats porridge

Benefits: A healthy energising meal that contains slow-releasing carbs and healthy fats. Almonds and Cashews are low in calories in comparison to other nuts and a 40g serving of oats is roughly 148 calories.


Ingredients

½ cup of oats

1 handful of Almonds

1 cup of milk of choice

Pinch of Cinnamon

Pinch of Nutmeg


Instructions

1. Place almonds and oats into a blender and mix fine

2. Heat milk in a saucepan

3. Add mixture to milk and stir

4. Add cinnamon and nutmeg

5. Stir until smooth
