Everyone Has a Different Health Story — And That’s What Inspires Me

As a nutritionist, I meet so many women with different stories—and every single one inspires me. I learn from the people I meet every day. My job isn’t just to give out meal plans or advice. It’s to understand where you are on your health journey. Because the truth is, being healthy isn’t as simple as it looks online.

We’re constantly shown videos of women transforming their bodies, experts giving endless advice, and influencers telling you what you should or shouldn’t do. It’s no wonder so many women feel lost about where to start. I’ve been there myself. It took me a long time to really get to know my body—to understand what works for me and what doesn’t.

So why am I telling you this? Because I genuinely care about your health. I want you to make choices that are right for you—not just follow what’s trending or what someone else says you “should” be doing.

Start with this one question: What is your health goal? That’s always where I begin with clients. Knowing your goal gives you direction.

For example, if your goal is to have more energy, then we look at your lifestyle:

  • Are you constantly on the go?

  • Are you sleeping enough?

  • Are you eating foods that boost energy—or ones that rob it?

  • Are you taking the right supplements (or do you need them at all)?

A few simple things that make a big difference:

  • Cook more at home. I know it’s not always easy, but planning a few meals each week is a great start. When you cook, you control what goes into your body, fueling you with the nutrients you need.

  • Eat more fruit and veg. Yes, it’s a cliché—but it’s still one of the most overlooked things. So many people skip the basics and jump straight to supplements. Fruits and vegetables have incredible health benefits, yet they’re often demonised or ignored.

The key? Don’t aim for perfection—just aim for progress. One step at a time, one goal at a time. Your body is unique, and so is your path to feeling your best.
